SBS Korea’s “Cruel Temptation” makes its way to the U.S. and Latin America

 
Sierra/Engine Television, a global production and distribution company has teamed up with former Sony SVP, Brendan Fitzgerald's company, Pomodoro Stories to acquire the format rights to the Korean drama series, Cruel Temptation. The series will be developed into both English and Spanish formats to serve audiences in the United States and Latin America. Yunjeung Jo, President of Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) International said, “We're very pleased to start a great partnership with one of the most important producers and distributors in the world, which will be a key factor as we position our products in the U.S. and Latin American market”. According to TNmS, a Korean audience research company, the show was a hit among viewers and had clinched the top spot during its run on SBS. It has also been successfully adapted in both China and the Philippines
